Grant Seekers

KACF supports organizations and programs in the greater metropolitan New York area that help individuals and families in the Korean American and the broader communities to move towards self-sufficiency. The Foundation prioritizes programs that employ holistic approaches in the following five program areas:

  • Economic Security - guiding individuals towards economic sufficiency
  • Health - encouraging physical, mental and socio-emotional health
  • Safety - helping survivors of violence to achieve physical and emotional safety
  • Senior Empowerment - fostering a sense of independence and self-sufficiency
  • Youth Empowerment - promoting healthy decision-making and a sense of empowerment

Inter-Ethnic Community Development

KACF’s Inter-Ethnic Community Development (IECD) initiative will be re-launched in the fall of 2010. Through IECD, the Foundation will support innovative programs that promote dialogue and collaboration among ethnic groups to create a positive society. click here

Capacity Building Grants

KACF will launch its Capacity Building Initiative in the summer of 2010. Only current grantee partners are eligible to receive capacity building grants.

Special Projects Grants

Small grants are available to organizations and programs that have identified emerging needs in the Korean American community and are working to address them. To apply for these grants, please contact Brennan Gang, Program Officer, at brennan@kacfny.org.
