Kyung B. Yoon

Executive Director

Kyung assumed the position of Executive Director in November 2008, but her ties to KACF date back to the inception of the organization. As a founding Board member and Gala Co-Chair for multiple years, Kyung’s dedicated leadership has helped ensure KACF’s continued growth and stability. As the key spokesperson for KACF, Kyung brings communications skills honed from her previous professional experience in the field of journalism. Formerly a correspondent for WNYW Fox Channel 5 News, Kyung was the first Korean-American broadcast reporter in New York history. She is a former Vice President of the New York chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association and previously served as the Executive Producer of Television at the World Bank. In addition to her KACF activities, Kyung has worked for many years as a volunteer and leader in the Asian American community of New York, particularly in raising awareness and support for the fight against domestic violence. As immediate past Chair, and current Chair of the Advisory Board of the New York Asian Women's Center, she is recognized as an advocate for women and children’s rights to govern their own lives, free from abuse. For her contributions, the New York Asian Women’s Center honored Kyung with the 2006 Phoenix Award for Service. Kyung has a BA degree from Wellesley College and a MA in international economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. She is married with two children. Brennan Gang

Program Officer

Brennan oversees KACF's grantmaking and other program-related initiatives. Most recently, she served as Program Officer for the New York Women's Foundation where she helped to manage over $2 million grantmaking budget, including strategic review and analysis of grant applications, and develop short- and long-term strategies in three areas of work: grantmaking, capacity building, and public education and advocacy. Before joining the New York Women's Foundation, Brennan spent two years in Seoul, South Kore, teaching English as Second Language and exploring her heritage. Prior to this journey, she spent three years in the hospitality industry as a Catering Manager in Denver, Colorado. Following her interest in volunteerism, she served a year in the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps after college. Brennan is a graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman's College with a B.A in English. Brennan may be reached at brennan@kacfny.org.

Jennifer Kim

Operations Manager

Jennifer is responsible for the administrative, financial and human resources operations of KACF, and manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of KACF. Jennifer brings to KACF her experiences in sales & marketing and marketing communications gained while working in Korea for Hewlett Packard and the Inter-Continental Hotel in Seoul. And most recently, she was a commercial officer at Embassy of Israel in Korea, focusing on bilateral trade between two countries. Jennifer has a BA degree from Manhattan School of Music in Piano Performance and married with one son. Jennifer may be reached at Jennifer@kacfny.org.
