Steering Committee
Formed in 2005, the Korean American Community Foundation’s Steering Committee (SC) is comprised of young working professionals in New York with a deep passion for their community. The SC supports the KACF Board by providing resources to execute various initiatives, including the Annual Building Bridges Gala, SC Summer Benefit, Dollar a Day Campaign, Golf Event, Circle of Friends, and other opportunities to build and cultivate KACF’s supporter base. SC members work to increase awareness of KACF’s mission and inspire new members to volunteer their time to support the organization. What essentially began as a handful of volunteers has evolved into a larger, more structured group of dedicated committee members who can be relied upon to support all KACF initiatives, from organizing events to working with grantee partner organizations. Without the leadership and staunch support of SC members, KACF would not have been able to achieve much of its success to date.
